Mshengu Muzi Tshabalala was born on the 24 October 1947 by the late Archbishop Willie Mahlamvulane Tshabalala and The Late Elizabeth Siphiwe Sibiya, the first daughter of The Late Archbishop Kageja Johannes Sibiya and The Late Miriam Majomela Shabangu, founders of Ethopian Holy Baptist Church in Zion Izikhova Ezimnqini.
